The 64-bedded Spire Gatwick Park Hospital provides a range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services. There are three critical care beds, and always at least two members of staff with Advanced Life Support Training on site at any one time. The hospital has a static MRI scanner, and a mobile CT scanner. These are better than conventional x-rays at imaging soft tissue in the body. Other diagnostic services offered include x-ray and ultrasound. The hospital is able to perform surgery for both breast cancer and colorectal cancer, and both units are BUPA-approved. The hospital does not, however, offer chemotherapy, radiotherapy or palliative care.
